Mainstream mentioning of facials

Hello everybody,

I'm making a youtube video of facials being referenced in the mainstream. There have been at least three threads on this subject that have come and gone. I have scenes from Taxi Driver, Leaving Las Vegas, Nathalie, Ordinary Heroes, Family Guy, Bridget Jones, Sarah Silverman, that beautiful indian woman named India something who gives herself a coconut facial, Olivia Munn, Ugly Betty, and Babel. Many of these came from the past threads on this subject. I also have examples from advertising.

I know there are a couple of references to the act in Sex and the City. Does anyone know which episodes?

Finally, are there anymore that anyone can remember? thanks!!

You've already mentioned most of the ones I was going to say. I'll have a look through vids I've posted before as I'm always on the look-out for them. I'll get back to you on that...

thanks for your responses, guys. Bobby Coke, I think I have most of the ones you were going to mention because it was you who mentioned a lot of them in other threads on the subject, if I recall.

There's another one that I forgot to mention that I saw on Youtube once. It was from a British variety show and featured two detectives, one male and one female. They are at a crime scene--a bedroom--and the male says, "Now, when I switch on this special blue light, any traces of the suspects sperm will show up."

The detective switches on the light and there's nothing there. He looks up to his female colleague and guess what? Her face is glowing in the tell-tale signs of the facials she's recieved. She's like, "What? Why are you looking at me?"

Does anyone know what that was from?

Another good one is Hayden Panettiere doing a 'champagne facial' for the artist Tyler Shields. Couple of gifs of that below, the vid is posted in here...

As i wrote you in a pm, Bobby, is: I don't really know how to do this. I only have the whole movie. In other words, I don't know how to cut out the relevant file from the whole, and I don't know how to put them together again! I don't know how to make titles, or link jpegs to mpegs/avi. So it's all a steep learning curve. I want to learn this stuff. If anyone has any advice on how to do this, please give me a heads up.

Like the Babel one too. I've seen that movie but don't think I even noticed that bit. Nice find.

hey thanks guys. I forgot about that scene from Silence of the Lambs, and I never knew the one from Body Double. Thanks a lot guys, this will really help the comp be complete. I've already downloaded Body Double and will soon get Silence.

By the way Shape, do you recall where in the film the facial reference is? I know it's my job to find it but can you give me a head's up?
